    Small churches apply through our church-facing site. We review their doctrine, leadership, and basic ministry details. Only Bible-believing, Christ-centered churches are accepted.

    As a donor church, you can see high-level profiles of approved churches—including location, denominational family, and a short ministry story—and choose who to support.

Doctrine & Alignment:  Who Do We Help?

If you’re going to put your church’s missions dollars behind another ministry, you need to know who you’re supporting. That’s not picky—that’s faithful stewardship.

Our Screening Process Includes:

  • A clear statement of faith from the church
  • Basic denominational / church family information
  • Agreement with core essentials of historic, orthodox Christianity
  • A short ministry story describing how they’re serving their community

We’re not here to police every secondary issue, but we do make sure every participating church holds to the gospel and to the authority of Scripture.

How You Choose Churches Comfortably:

  • Filter churches by denominational family or theological stream

  • Choose a specific church to fund or give to a general pool
  • Never pressured to support a church you’re not comfortable with

  • First full year of hosting, backups, security, and professional maintenance ($85 /mo  x 12 = $1,020)

After the first year, churches continue at just $85/month—an amount most small congregations can sustain. This gives them 12 months to build it into their budget while ensuring their new site stays online and cared for.

Who's Behind Fund Our Site?

I’m Hutch. I’ve spent 20 years as a small-church pastor and 25+ years building websites for churches, nonprofits, and small businesses. I know the tension: big calling, small budget. Fund Our Site is how we close that gap—pairing generous churches with faithful ministries and then doing the work to get them online.  Churches helping churches!

  • How much does it cost to fund a website?

    A complete first-year church website sponsorship is $1,770. This includes:

    – $750 – Full website setup, design, and build
    – $1,020 – 12 months of hosting, security, backups, and support ($85/mo)

    After the first year, the church continues at just $85/month on their own—affordable for most small congregations. This sponsorship model gives them time to work the monthly cost into their budget while launching with a professional, fully-managed site.

    Flexible giving options are available:

    – Full Year Sponsor: $1,770 (our most common option)
    – Launch Sponsor: $750 (church covers $85/mo from month one)
    – 6-Month Sponsor: $1,260 (setup + 6 months of support)
    – Monthly Partner: $85/mo ongoing (for churches needing long-term support)

  • What happens after the first year of sponsorship?

    After the first year, most churches transition to paying the $85/month support plan on their own. We’ve found that 12 months is enough time for even tight budgets to work this in.

    If a church truly cannot continue after a year, they have options:
    – Reapply for extended sponsorship through Fund Our Site
    – Their original donor church can choose to extend support
    – We’ll work with them to find a sustainable solution

    Our goal is to help churches become self-sustaining, not create dependency. But we also won’t let a site go dark simply because of budget constraints.

  • Do we get to approve the church we are funding?

    Yes. You can choose a specific church based on the profiles we provide, or you can give to the general fund and let us direct support to the next approved church in line.

  • How do you make sure the churches are doctrinally sound?

    Every church completes a detailed application, including a statement of faith and basic denominational / theological information. We only accept churches who affirm core, historic Christian doctrine and the authority of Scripture.

  • What if we want to stop giving or change our commitment?

    You’re never locked into something you can’t adjust. We’ll make sure your commitments are clear, flexible, and well-communicated so you can adjust as your church’s situation or priorities change.

  • Is my gift tax deductible?

    While we can provide an annual donation receipt to all donors, at this time, Fund Our Site Initiative is not a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States, so donations made directly to Fund Our Site are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions. If our status changes in the future, we’ll update this page accordingly. For questions about your specific tax situation, please consult a qualified tax professional.
